Editorial hairstylist Lisa Robertson, based in Adelaide, Australia shares her recent collection entitled Upcycle.
"Upcycling takes waste and creates something new from it, in its current state," says Robertson about her inspiration. "It can be seen as to what it has been and what it has become. I wanted to use materials that would normally be thrown away and creatively reuse them to transform hair and non-hair material in to hair pieces. Denim became a big part in the styling, creating a more elevated street look. All the clothing has been upcycled or is second hand."
