Every time I come across someone wearing feather extensions in their hair, I immediately FREAK out over them and have to stalk them to find out where they got them done. They are absolutely adorable! Every time I take a picture of someone wearing the extension and post it on MODERN's Facebook, you guys go nuts for them. "Where can we get them" "How much do you charge?" "How long do they last?" So, it's clear, this is sure to be the next biggest thing to help boost your tickets AND it takes MINUTES to apply!

AACS Executive Director Jim Cox says the association is urging the entire industry to contact their U.S. House of Representatives member(s) to support a bipartisan amendment to block the Department of Education’s proposed gainful employment regulation¸ which could be devastating for cosmetology school business and have a negative ripple effect for the entire beauty industry.

Today is my second day in Palm Springs, California, where I am participating in my VERY FIRST Matrix Imagination event!Not only am I super excited about getting out of snowy Chicago, but I am ecstatic to be hanging out with some of the coolest peeps in the industry. Today, watching E! News, I first heard of the death of 28-year-old Isabelle Caro--a french model who was on the front lines fighting against anorexia. Isabelle struggled with the debilitating disease since she was 13 and, despite being so public with her determination to combat anorexia, she died never fully overcoming the disease.
Today was the final judging day of Matrix Spread the Love competition--and I am so honored, so full of gratitude and joy, that I was selected to be the only guest judge among all the Matrix top big wigs to get the chance to interview the 22 top finalists in the Spread the Love competition.
