The Professional Beauty Association (PBA) recently announced the 100 winning students chosen to attend Beacon 2010. These 100 students were selected from nearly 600 applicants, based on the creativity, presentation and content of their resume, professional portfolio and creative marketing pieces. All applications were judged by PBA members.
When Beauty Systems Group held its recent Fashion Frenzy hair styling competition in conjunction with a regional show in Schaumburg, Illinois, MODERN Editor Laurel Smoke and Associate Editor Alison Shipley helped judge the results with industry consultant Geno Stampora on stage to emcee.
