Imagine a time when updos weren’t enough—headdresses were the symbol of authority and power. In ancient Egypt, ornate headdresses were reserved for royalty. The wealthier the person, the more magnificent the ringlets. This concept inspired Liza Espinoza and photographer Luis Alvarez’ to create the Artifacts collection.
Twilight Celebration by Cutting Room Creative Art Team
For this special collection of holiday-gone-avant-garde, the Cutting Room Creative Art Team meshed old world glamor with influences ranging from the new vampire genre to Tim Burton films to designer John Galliano. Vintage gowns were custom-accessorized, and paired with ultra modern hairdressing techniques. Hairpieces and extensions were preset, and all hair prepared and finished with KMS California products.
