The holidays are right around a corner, and this means increased business opportunities for your business as a stylist or a salon owner. Tanisha Foster, Director of Vertical Market shares with us how gift certificates can increase your revenue sales. Here are three tips that will help this season be the best season for gift card sales.
#1. Offer gift cards at your location, on your website and your Facebook page. This enables you to offer print and electronic delivery for all of your customers. Make sure you provide a variety of price ranges - this allows gift options for purchasers at every price point. If you are making custom gift baskets – include gift cards.
#2. You have to market your gift cards. Market them through social media, in-store signage and e-mail. Focus on convenience – this is key during the holiday season especially for your last minute shoppers.
#3. Timing is everything. Start your initial push the week leading up to Black Friday. This is when most people begin their holiday shopping. You want to also continue your marketing efforts through the end of the year. This is a great way to make sure your gift card sales stay steady. Keep your buyers in mind and offer perks. The more they spend at your location, the more of a chance they will get rewards.
