Each year, Forbes evaluates hundreds of companies based on growth (both in sales and hiring), sustainability, quality of management team and investors, margins, market size and key partnerships for their list of “America’s Most Promising Companies.” In 2014, Oribe Hair Care received the honor of being the only prestige beauty company to be included on this exclusive list.

“We started this business with the ambition of building a company with amazing employees, products and education that would be recognized for setting a new standard by stylists and consumers around the world,” says Oribe co-president Daniel Kaner. “As we celebrate our five-year anniversary, it’s humbling to be acknowledged by a business institution like Forbes and to see how far we’ve come in achieving our dream.”

“It’s wonderful to see a hair brand that was created by a hairdresser for salon professionals get recognized by a global publication like Forbes,” echoes Oribe co-president Tevya Finger. “We feel that this honor does not just recognize the company we’ve built, but the hair industry as a whole.”

Built upon a rich heritage of hairstyling, fashion and artistry, Oribe Hair Care was launched in 2009 by renowned hairstylist Oribe Canales and industry veterans Kaner and Finger.
