Philip James, owner of Philip James Salon published an easy-to-understand, instructional graphic that serves as a guide to choosing the right hair extensions for a client. “Hair extensions are great for adding volume and length to your hair, for changing style, or experimenting with new looks. But with so many hair extension options available, it can be tough to figure out which type is best for you,” says Philip James Salon.

The guide is split into five types: fusion, microlink or microcylinder, braidless sew-in, skin weft and clip-ins. The guide provides a description of each, what each are best for, how they are attached, how long they last and maintenance information.
