AG Hair Cosmetics, manufacturer of a complete line of professional hair care products, has launched Project Wellness, a program through which the company funds the building of wells to provide clean drinking water in  African villages. AG Founders John and Lotte Davis recently traveled to Nanyuki, Kenya where one of the company-funded wells recently became operational providing residents with a source of clean, fresh drinking water. "Water is such an important element in the hair care business and we often forget how fortunate we are to have safe, reliable access to it," says Lotte Davis. "A safe source of water means children can spend their days attending school and not retrieving water, With an education, these children can grow up having a voice, earning an income and making a difference," she added. The well provides clean drinking water for 2,000 people.
