Nick Arrojo and his team of world-class hairdressing artists brought the Arrojo Exposé hair show to Chappaqua, NY, recently for an inspirational evening of creative cutting and coloring, modern styling and texturizing, and beauty trend forecasting. After two years of canceled events and reduced capacities, more than 150 professionals attended the event at the Chappaqua Performing Arts Center. Preceded by a collection of entertaining hair trend inspiration videos, the demonstrations and presentations included signature Arrojo razor-cutting techniques, precision scissor-cutting, hair painting, American Wave permanent textures, and occasion styling.

The team presented emerging trends for spring and summer, including blurred lines between masculine and feminine, hairstyles with bold colors, large curls, and punk-inspired, defined yet collapsed shapes. Emphasis was on tailor-made looks reflecting the personality of the individual.

Collaboration and Celebration

A highlight of the evening came when legendary Westchester hairdresser Franco Osso joined Arrojo on stage to thank him for bringing hair education back to Westchester Country. He encouraged attendees to continue to build the country's hairdressing community.

"Exposé events allow us to show an audience of our peers our entire approach to hairdressing, as well as our culture, which encourages collaboration and celebration between salon owners and stylists," Nick Arrojo says. "Exposé is a great way to show how we go from creative concept to execution of technical and creative skills in each discipline of the craft, plus the commitment to collaboration that sets our brand apart. After an enforced three-year hiatus, it was so good to be back with a full house in Westchester!"
