Hutchins has been promoted to President of Professional Brands and will begin working closely with Hotheads, hairtalk, and Flaunt by Paul Mitchell brands.

Beauty Industry Group (BIG), an industry leader for hair extension brands, has announced the promotion of Brandon Hutchins from Group Vice President to President of Professional Brands. In addition to overseeing and working closely with Babe Hair, Twisted Fringe and HALOCOUTURE, he will also begin working with the Hotheads, hairtalk, and Flaunt by Paul Mitchell brands.
Hutchins began his time at BIG 11 years ago while serving as the Vice President of Marketing. During that time, he helped define brand direction and implement various strategic initiatives that led to strong growth in an established extension category. During his tenure at BIG, Hutchins also has served as Brand Director for Donna Bella Hair and Vice President of Sales for BIG.
Over the past three years, Hutchins served as Group Vice President of Professional Brands, overseeing a collection of companies that represent the most prestigious and recognized hair extension brands within professional beauty. In addition to having his eyes on future growth and innovation, he helped establish a strong business foundation that served to weather, and even thrive, during economic storms, such as what has hit the salon industry so strongly with COVID-19.
“I’m honored to be able to work alongside Hotheads, hairtalk, and Flaunt,” says Hutchins. “These brands have been known as innovators in the extension space and I look forward to being part of their future success.”
“Having worked alongside Brandon now for more than a decade, I can confidently say he is as good as they come - a true professional in every sense of the word and a great leader. He will do a wonderful job as he continues his climb in our industry and leaves his mark upon BIG’s brands,” shares Derrick Porter, CEO of BIG.
