Matrix General Manager Colin Walsh recently traveled to his hometown of Barrie, Ontario where he re-connected with his childhood stylist, Sharon Smith. Walsh was joined by Dr. Lew Losconcy, motivational speaker and co-author with Walsh of On—A Brilliant Way to Live and Work.

Smithhosted a gathering of 100 of her friends and colleagues for a presentation and book signing by Walsh and Losconcy.

Walsh describes Smith as  being “pretty, fun and stylish” with a creativity and energy that inspired his successful beauty industry career and his admiration for and connection with hairdressers.

Smith says of Walsh, “It had been 25 years since we had seen each other. He was a young teenager and now he’s delivering such wonderful and empowering messages. Early in my career Dr. Lew really inspired me. I’m so pleased that I was finally able to thank him.”

Walsh told Smith, “You impacted my life and my self-esteem with your talent and gifts.”
