Bellus Academy is teaming up with Hairbrained as its exclusive school partner at the International Salon and Spa Expo (ISSE) Long Beach, January 28-30. Awarded the honor of Best Continental Academy– North America by Intercoiffure Mondial in September 2015, Bellus Academy shares Hairbrained’s commitment to lifelong learning across the hairstylists’ career journey – from enrolling in beauty school to competing for the industry’s top accolades.
Following the Hairbrained Teach-in on the NAHA stage, Bellus Academy is sponsoring a networking party, bringing together Bellus almni, educators and industry icons. During ISSE, Bellus Academy owner Lynelle Lynch will also help raise awareness and donations for the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation, a non-profit 501c3 that raises funds for beauty school scholarships, which she has led since 2012. “Haribrained, Bellus Academy and the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation share a commitment to elevating the career of hairstyling,” says Lynch. “In an industry that celebrates diversity, education is a unifying element that distinguishes the industry’s most accomplished professionals.”
Throughout ISSE, Bellus Academy will welcome industry icons for photos at the interactive photo booth and share information on how its educators and alumni are giving back to the industry. “Bellus is devoted to developing the industry’s top talent and preparing them for the amazing career opportunities available to highly trained and educated professionals,” Lynch said.
