The Joico K-Pak ReconstRx VaporIron launch and the beauty industry introduction of the Minardi Color Perfect Lighting System, each held at the Minardi Salon in New York City.
THE DETAILS: Beth and Carmine Minardi held two special events at their salon introducing Joico's K-Pak VaporIron (Beth is the Vero K-Pak Color spokesperson) and the Minardi Color Perfect Lighting System to more than 100 salon professionals and beauty editors. Among those in attendance were: Sara Jones, senior vice president and general manager of Joico; Patrick O'Keefe, director of communications; and celebrity hairstylists George Papanikolas, Michael Kriston, Marco Pelusi, Salvatore Minardi and Michael and Geri-Anne Dipaolo of Masello Salon Services of New England. The events included product demonstrations and tours of the salon.
A SPECIAL HIGHLIGHT: Senior hair colorist Tohmas Elmlund, who is also a painter (tohmase.com), prepared 12 large canvases to exhibit at the events. This special exhibit will be on display at the salon through July (minardinyc.com).
THE LAST WORD: "Each event was so perfect," said Beth Minardi. "They were fun, festive, with wonderful guests, dear industry friends, and all kinds of beautiful people. Carmine and I loved sharing time with salon professionals who share our passion about the professional salon business."
