Pat Parenty, president, US Brands Professional Products Division for L'Oreal, has announced that Colin Walsh has been named vice president/general manager of Matrix US. He will be responsible for strengthening the brand's development within the distribution network and for building upon Matrix's strong connection with the hairdressing community. The Matrix US Senior Management team will report to Walsh.
Walsh joined L'Oreal in 2000 and has held leadership positions in sales, marketing, product development and distribution.
"Colin's diverse background and career successes in brand development, sales and distribution have prepared him well for this exciting new opportunity," says Parenty. "He has a strong passion and knowledge of the salon industry and a commitment to the hairdresser."
