Milady, a leading provider of forward-thinking education for beauty programs, proudly announces the promotion of Corina Santoro to General Manager.
Santoro has a long-standing history with the Milady brand, having first joined the organization in 2013 as a Product Director. In that role, she played a key role in creating new revenue streams and contributing to the digital transformation the Milady business has undergone over the past decade. She led major product revisions and oversaw the full-scale launch of Milady digital courseware, laying the groundwork for the company’s shift into a digital learning leader.

After a brief period working within Milady’s parent company, Cengage Group, as Senior Product Director of Employability Initiatives and Careers, Santoro returned to Milady in 2020 at a critical time to lead the development of Milady CIMA®, a digital-first beauty education platform. Under her leadership, Milady further strengthened its role as a trusted partner for schools navigating remote learning. Today, CIMA is a modern, flexible beauty education platform and is used by the majority of beauty school programs in the U.S.
A respected leader in the industry, Santoro is a frequent speaker and collaborator at both state and national events. Since 2022, she has also served as a Board Member of the American Association of Career Schools (AACS). Her customer-first philosophy has been key to the continued success of Milady. By staying closely connected to the needs of students, educators, and school leaders, she ensures that every initiative delivers real-world value.
“I'm honored to step into this role at such a pivotal time for beauty education," said Santoro. "Education is evolving rapidly, and while the needs of our learners and educators continue to shift, their passion for launching careers in this incredible industry remains unwavering. By staying closely connected to our customers, we will continue to deliver exceptional learning experiences that empower them to turn their dreams into reality.”
Santoro succeeds Sandra Bruce, who retired after 30 years of dedicated service to Milady and Cengage Group. Sandra’s outstanding leadership was recognized with the prestigious 2024 N.F. Cimaglia Award, a testament to her lasting impact on the beauty education industry.
