In 2012, Cosmetologists Chicago (CC) raised and presented considerable funds to aid salon professionals and owners affected by Hurricane Sandy in the Northeast. Now this association of 5,000 that owns and produces America’s Beauty Show, has established the Cosmetologists Chicago Tornado Assistance Fund to help salon pros that were affected by the deadly storms and tornadoes that swept through the Midwest on Sunday, November 17th.
What if your salon was destroyed just before the busy holiday season? Unfortunately, that’s what many of your salon peers face today in the aftermath of the tornadoes.
So what can you do to help the salons in need?
CC and Cosmetologists Illinois have already reached out to identify salons and salon professionals in the worse hit areas. They will “adopt” as many as possible and provide funds to help them get back on their feet. CC will also give them complimentary admission to America’s Beauty Show in March 2014.
