COSMETOLOGISTS CHICAGO CONTINUES SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Cosmetologists Chicago has announced the continuation of its scholarship fund with its 2009 President’s Scholarship awards. The scholarships are awarded to members in good standing with the association who wish to pursue a higher level of cosmetology education. The awards are also extended to members of the International Nail Technicians’ Association, the American Association for Esthetics and Cosmetologos Latinos. This year’s recipients participated in advanced master classes with industry leaders including Vivienne Mackinder and Luis Alvarez. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of need and academic record. More than $25,000 in scholarships funds will be awarded in 2009. The application deadline in October 1, 2008.
