Tony Cuccio, President and CEO of Star Nail International, nail and beauty products manufacturers for brands including Cuccio Naturale, Cuccio Colour, cinapro and All Season Nails, traveled to San Jose, Costa Rica in December to motivate and inspire more than 600 nail technicians and those interested in beauty industry careers. The audience listened as Cuccio gave in-depth information about the status of the industry and the methods they should be using to make more money with their services through add-ons and retail.
“In a country where the average annual salary is $4,000, the turnout was tremendous and shows me that the desire to learn and earn is there,” said Cuccio. “And that’s one of the reasons I continue to do these seminars. The potential to make money in this industry is limited only by lack of knowledge. I’d like to help change that as it benefits all of us on a larger scale. People need resources for success, and I help point them in the right direction through my experiences.”
