DePasquale the Spa in Morris Plains, New Jersey hosted its third annual Fashion Fight for a Cure. Held on November 18, the popular event boasted a sold-out runway show that featured a beauty and fashion “battle” that raised more than $90,000 to benefit Cancer Care at Saint Clare’s—the comprehensive oncology program at Saint Clare’s Health System with several locations serving northwestern New Jersey.

The event, which began as a tribute to David DePasquale, MD, included a cocktail reception; models styled by artists from DePasquale the Spa and a silent auction. Fashion Fight for a Cure is sponsored by beautyADDICTS Cosmetics and HudsonMOD Magazine. The show opened with a performance by violinist Sarah Charness and this year honored the late Morris County, New Jersey assemblyman Alex DeCroce.

The fashion and styling competition was judged by a celebrity panel that included Darryl “DMC” McDaniels and his wife Zuri McDaniels, Macray and Austin from the Style Network series Chicagolicious, Kathy Wakile from Real Housewives of New Jersey and celebrity stylist Tanya Tamburin.

Fashion Fight for a Cure drew more than 400 guests who participated in the silent auction, received gift bags and had the chance to win a $10,000 raffle drawing. The “All Hail Macqueen” team was named competition winner for outstanding hair and fashion styling.  Visit depasqualethespa.com and saintclaresfoundation.com.
