This month's designers both create red carpet-worthy style for their A-list clientele. West Coaster Campbell McAuley is stylist to many of Hollywood's hottest names, including Katherine Heigl, Kate Winslet and Salma Hayek. Owner and Creative Director of New York City's OC61, Louise O'Connor has created show-stopping looks for her celebrity-client roster since the salon opened in 2005. So inspiring is her work that top design houses, including Versace, Gucci, Nanette Lepore and Oscar de la Renta, call on her to infuse verve into their runway productions as well.

In Dubai, Clients Visit the Salon Every Week. Here’s What That Market Can Teach You

In Dubai, a salon visit isn’t an appointment. It’s a weekly routine, and clients can spend $800 to $1,400 a month on it, according to Gaurav Tripathi of MADI International. On October 6-8, 2026, the market behind those numbers opens its doors as Beautyworld Dubai marks its 30th edition at the Dubai World Trade Centre, bringing together distributors, brands, stylists and salon owners from all over the world.
