The hair color brand, Elgon, and its parent company Pidielle S.P.A. are family-owned, 100 percent Italian and 100 percent committed to the creative power of the hairdresser. Recently, Kathryn Mills joined the senior management team of the U.S. based staff of Elgon Italy LLC as the new director of business development. With over 23 years of experience in beauty industry sales, Mills was the director of sales and business development for Tocco Magico for over 15 years, where she led corporate expansion into U.S. markets and spearheaded the training and development of distributorships across the country, doubling the company’s revenues in the states.
Pidielle S.p.A. specializes in the design, formulation and manufature of hair care and hair color products. The Elgon brand was born in Milan,Italy where its headquarters remain today. Distributed in more than 70 countries, with a team of 60 employees, the company has been UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 certified since 2009. Elgon puts its products to the test in its training center in Florence, Italy, the Elgon Academy.
