FarmHouse Freshannounces the March 1, 2017 launch of Organics, their new collection of body products certified to the NSF/ANSI 305 standard, which hydrate and nurture hands, face, and body.
"True to the FarmHouse Fresh philosophy of crafting our products around good food and drinks, this organic collection offers the same delicious scents and textures our customers have grown to love, while also providing verified authenticity and purity for consumers leading an organic lifestyle," says Shannon McLinden, CEO of FarmHouse Fresh. "This was a monumental labor of love, but we are proud to say that the launch day has come.
"The detailed certification requires inspections of pick bins, gloves, equipment, storage containers, handling facilities, and filling processes to ensure certification standards are not compromised. Each certified jar bears the QAI auditing firm logo - so there is no question every product meets the certification standard, while using up to 95% certified-organic ingredients." QAI, one of the world's largest certifiers, is authorized by the USDA to certify organic operations to National Organic Program standards.
The Organics collection currently includes eightproducts which can be used for at-home exfoliation and hydration for the hands and body, with additional facial products expected later this year.
The eight debut products include: Big Bare Whipped Shea Butter Body Polish , a softening body polish that rinses clean, smooths away rough spots and removes dead skin cells using certified-organic sugar crystals, and hydrates the body with certified-organic shea butter and sunflower seed oil, offering a mix of lemon, bergamot and licorice notes; Sweet Milk Body Lotion and Sweet Milk Hand Lotion, a lightweight, non-greasy moisturizer that nourishes hands and body with certified organic shea butter, aloe vera leaf juice, sweet almond oil, vitamin E, with notes of sandalwood and tonka bean; Island Elixir Shea Butter Body Cream and Island Elixir Hand Cream , a riche cream which soothes dry, chapped skin with certified-organic coconut oil, shea butter, aloe vera, sweet almond oil, honeysuckle, and cocoa butter, with notes of pineapple and coconut; Blushing Agave Body Oil , a silky mixture scented with notes of coconut milk and red berries, and contains certified-organic oils of sunflower seed, safflower seed, and sweet almond, along with agave tequilana leaf extract and vitamin E, which are applied post-bath and help prevent transepidermal water loss while giving skin a plumped appearance; and the luxurious Sunflower Honey-Butter, a hydrating reparative butter cream with velvet-like texture offering intense hydration for extremely dry skin, containing certified-organic oils of coconut, sweet almond and sunflower seed, certified-organic honey and scented with notes of mandarin orange, fig, red berries and vetiver.
The Organics collection also includes the Lemongrass Ocean Mineral Bath Soak, an aromatherapy blend of tea tree, bergamot, lime, and rosewood, containing a mixture of Pink Himalayan and Atlantic Ceara mineral salts, Epsom salts, USDA-certified organic green tea, essential oils, herbs and mixed flower blends of organic lemon myrtle, rosehips, and hibiscus. For easy at-home use, there is a patent-pending tea bag with reusable clip and cork, which is sold separately. Explains McLinden, "Fill up the tea bag with the mineral bath blend, clip it shut and toss it in the bath water. The cork allows the tea bag to float and infuse the bath water with the mineral bath blend. The herbs and flowers stay inside the tea bag for easy clean up. After bathing, simply unclip and toss the used tea bag! Keep the tea clip and additional tea bags for future use."
Each product in Organics is free of GMO's, synthetic herbicides and pesticides, as well as parabens and sulfates. All of the Organics products are vegan, except for the Sunflower Honey-Butter.
