Gemtress has announced the launch of their new website, www.gemtress.com. The new website offers solutions for women experiencing hair loss. More than just displaying wigs and products, www.gemtress.com is a resource site for women experiencing thinning hair or hair loss. This responsive website can easily be accessed via mobile phones, ipads, and desktop computers connecting consumers to licensed and professional hair loss experts in their home area. It also provides visitors with news and information about hair loss, related products, and educational blogs.
According to Gemtress, over 30 million women suffer from some type of hair loss. Stress, hormones, genetics, medication and Alopecia can cause women's hair to thin or fall out. Yet most women do not know where to go to find credible, experienced hair loss experts.
"Most women suffer in silence, not knowing that they are a sisterhood of over thirty million women in the US" says Rhonda McCarthy, Gemtress executive. "We want to help women understand what is happening, what are their options, who can they trust and where can they go for help."
"You can look in the mirror again and feel beautiful," says Kayla Martell, 2010 Miss Delaware and 2011 Miss America finalist, who lost her hair from alopecia when she was 11 years old. Now a Gemtress Spokesmodel, Kayla travels throughout the US attending free women's hair loss seminars at local hair loss studios. (The seminar schedule is posted on www.gemtress.com along with photos of Kayla modeling different wigs.)
The Gemtress website was designed and developed by Media Power Advertising in collaboration with enCOMPASS Agency, who was recently awarded five 2013 Communicator Awards by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA)for websites supporting the hair loss industry.
