When and why did Hairdreams get involved in extensions?

Hairdreams was founded in 1992 by Gerhard Ott in Graz, Austria. Searching for new ways to innovate hair extensions, Ott turned his garage into a hair laboratory and conducted extensive research on refining human hair so it could be used as hair extensions. He began testing and studying new hair-refinement procedures based on modern techniques like those used to process high-grade cashmere. This multi-step hand-selection process results in hair strands that feel as soft and silky as the client’s own hair. With this hair-refinement process, Ott launched Hairdreams.
All Hairdreams partner stylists must first be certified to use the brand’s products. The stylists then educate their clients on properly caring for their Hairdreams hair to ensure a long and satisfying wearing period. We continue to develop salons in technique and marketing to help them grow their business and clientele.
How does Hairdreams help salons drive revenue?
Hair extensions are one of the most profitable salon services, and when combined with Hairdreams Laserbeamer Nano System, hair restoration Volume+ System and quality hair, it’s a trifecta that leads to success. Less time with each client means more profit and more clients in the chair. By using Hairdreams, salons can boost profits by $25,000 in just one year. Salons are also using social media to feature before-and-after images with clients, driving more consumers through their doors and increasing clientele.

What is Hairdreams’ research and development background?
Hairdreams continues to innovate with new applications, systems and easier, faster ways to apply Hairdreams hair. Our innovations include the exclusive patented Crystal Polymer Bonding System, which offers comfortable and gentle attachments and an easy removal process when combined with its proprietary removal solution, allowing the extensions or pieces to slip off of the hair safely and gently without damage to the client’s own hair. Hairdreams Laserbeamer Nano System is great for instant, automatic bonding for up to five strands at the same time; a full head of hair extensions can be applied in a less than one hour.
How do you inspire salon professionals?
Hairdreams systems free up stylists to all possibilities no matter where their clients are starting from. We partner with top stylists in international hair shows, Fashion Week and high-fashion editorial to help generate more awareness of the endless possibilities of using Hairdreams systems. The brand also launches an annual stylebook, which features various events and looks from stylists around the globe.
