When and why did HairVisions get involved in treating hair loss?
With more than 145 million men and women in the U.S. facing thinning, aging hair or hair loss, it’s past time for the entire hair and beauty industry join together to help the people who trust us as their image and beauty consultants. HairVisions International is a recognized leader in providing hair loss solutions for more than 40 years. In keeping with our mission of providing added benefits to our business partners, in early 2016, we created a strategic alliance with Capilia of Canada, experts in scalp health, as the United States distributor for the exclusive Head First program.
What is HairVisions’ research and product development background?
Because consumers have become increasingly aware of the benefits of maintaining a healthy scalp on a day-to-day basis, we chose to meet this demand by creating products and treatment programs catering to their needs. Perception that a healthy scalp is the key foundation for healthy hair is challenging traditional haircare approaches, which have historically placed less importance on the scalp and more on nourishing the hair itself. Our brand research and product development has led us to believe that trichology is the trend of the future and can be utilized by the hair industry to create a successful product and service environment.
What education does HairVisions provide for stylists and salon owners?
Our Head First Lab offers a three-day intensive certification trichology workshop. As a certified specialist, you will be empowered to deliver a complete scalp assessment followed up by a through scalp analysis using a 200x microscope and custom software. A prescription is provided that details in salon treatments, home regimen and monthly monitoring to assess the client’s progress.
