Harris Shepard, founder and president of Harris Shepard Public Relations, Inc., located in Century City, Calif., has announced that the agency will close its doors at the end of June. Harris Shepard’s most notable client of over 24 years is the nail care company OPI Products Inc. Additionally, Harris Shepard has had multi-year engagements with Murad skin care, Jenny Craig and KEVIN.MURPHY hair care.
“I am filled with gratitude. Thank you to my loyal clients, an incredible creative team and a group of editors who always gave me the time to tell the newest story. Everyday has been exciting, creative and fun – there’s never been a dull moment,” says Shepard. “That being said, I’m thrilled to begin a new chapter, and the best is yet to come.” Shepard went on to say that the timing was right to make his exit. “When I started my agency, I really felt like the stars and the planets – and lots of hard work – came together to make my group successful from the beginning – and now I feel it’s just the right time to leave.”
