H.O.P.E. for Beauty (Home of Professional Education), the educational and training center established by John Philipp, welcomed Gary Sunderland of Twiddle Stics for a two-day educational event January 22 and 23. Philipp is the founder of Tru Beauty, a full service distributorship, which provides education, classes and a chance to see top artists at its H.O.P.E. venue.
British stylist Sunderland is the creator of the Doll Twiddle Stics, a unique tool for creating curls that last until they are shampooed out. Sunderland traveled from London to bring the Twiddle Stics to stylists at H.O.P.E.’s Pennsylvania location where he demonstrated the tools’ CoolCurl heat absorbing technology that removes moisture from the hair.
