Oribe products were recently in the styling arsenal of both Oribe himself and stylist Kristen Shaw when they created Red Carpet glam for Jennifer Lawrence and Olivia Munn, respectively.
Oribe is a self-proclaimed fan of Jennifer Lawrence and created her Red Carpet look for the New York City premiere of Silver Linings Playbook. His approach was to fashion a messy pony tail and full fringe to offset her black tuxedo. ”She is only 22, but her presence is really strong,” says Oribe, “so I wanted to keep her young and fun. I cut soft bangs around her face and did a simple ponytail with some height that took just 15 minutes to create.”

Apply Dry at the roots for lift and pull loosely back into a ponytail and securer.
Spray Soft Lacquer onto sections of the ponytail and curl with a large-barrel iron to create some soft waves and finish the style with Shine for Red Carpet luster.

Celebrity stylist Kristen Shaw used Oribe products to create a “low Spanish-style bun” for the BAFTA Awards. “”This style is effortless and chic and looks like she could have created it herself,” says Shaw.

Using a one-inch curling iron, wrap sections from mid-shaft to ends, directing hair away from the face. Brush out curls.
