During this year's America's Beauty Show (ABS) in Chicago, the top three contestants of NAILS Magazine's Next Top Nail Artist (NTNA) competition will be featured as CND's NextGen Artists at the fourth annual Beauty Changes Lives (BCL) Experience.
Beginning last September, contestants have completed weekly challenges to test their nail artistry skills. Each week, they are judged based off of their creativity and technical skills by public voting and judges' scores, determining who would stay in the competition for the following week.
CND is serving as the title sponsor for the second year, with Jan Arnold, CND co-founder and style director, serving as a head judge for the competition. Alongside her, Erika Kotite and Beth Livesay of NAILS Magazine round out the judging panel.
The final multi-part challenge, sponsored by CND, is currently underway. On Saturday, March 12, 2016, at the Beauty Changes Lives Experience at Chicago’s Soldier Field, beauty manufacturers will work with the three finalists to showcase their nail artistry at the event. The winning nail professional will be officially crowned NAILS Next Top Nail Artist the next day.
NAILS NTNA will culminate at ABS Chicago, where the top three contestants – Celina Rydén, Sarah Elmaz and Winnie Huang – will compete for the title of Next Top Nail Artist, as well as cash and product prizes and life-changing career opportunities.
