Intercoiffure America/Canada recently awarded Vivienne Mackinder the Leo Passage Educator of the Year Award. Mackinder is a Master Stylist and founder of HairDesignerTV.com.
The award recognizes the educational contributions that the late Leo Passage, founder of Pivot Point International, made to the professional salon industry.
Intercoiffure President Lois Christie presented the award to Mackinder. The first L.E.O. award was presented in 2011 to Luis Alvarez, a Pivot Point graduate and co-founder of Aquage.
“Education was everything to my father,” said Pivot Point Chairman and CEO Robert Passage. “He worked tirelessly to spread the craft of hairdressing to aspiring artists around the world. Vivienne embodies these very same principles. I can’t think of anyone more deserving of the 2012 Leo Passage Educator of the Year award.
