The Professional Beauty Association (PBA) and Cosmoprof North America (CPNA) recently announced INSPIRE: A Night Celebrating Beauty Entrepreneurs. INSPIRE, to be held Saturday, July 23rd, will kick-off PBA’s Beauty Week and the CPNA exhibition. This event will also feature the live Beauty Pitch 2016 competition. Proceeds from INSPIRE benefit the PBA Foundation, an organization supporting charitable initiatives and the historical preservation of the beauty industry and City of Hope, a world-renowned comprehensive cancer treatment and research center.
“The Professional Beauty Association is honored to host INSPIRE, a night focused on the entrepreneurial and charitable spirit of our industry. INSPIRE will bring together professional beauty leaders to celebrate our long legacy of supporting City of Hope,” said PBA Executive Director Steve Sleeper.
INSPIRE, will feature networking with some of the industry’s biggest names including: President and CEO of Sally Beauty Holdings, Christian Brinkman; President of Jinny Beauty Supply, Eddie Jhin; President of CosmoProf and Armstrong McCall, Sally Beauty Holdings, Mark Spinks; Vice President of Merchandising and Planning for SalonCentric, Steve Orzel; and celebrity hairstylist Ted Gibson.

Beauty Pitch 2016
Beauty Pitch™ 2016 will be featured during INSPIRE. Applications are now being accepted for beauty entrepreneurs in two separate business categories: Startup (revenues ranging from $100K to $5M) and the Established (revenues ranging from $5M and above).
The competition is open to beauty entrepreneurs from all sectors including prestige, mass, clinical, organic/natural, the professional salon/spa market and technology service providers. Interested companies must be based in the United States, have U.S. distribution, demonstrate an annual 10 percent growth in revenue since the launch of the business and meet the category revenue requirements.
The deadline to enter Beauty Pitch is Friday, April 29th at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
