Jeanne Chavez was appointed President, Smith & Cult, and Vice President Retail Development,Luxury Brand Partners (LBP), effective January 1, 2015. Chavez has been a part of the Luxury Brand Partners family for several years, serving as a board member for Smith & Cult, which she developed with Dineh Mohajer. “We’ve been working with Jeanne for a while, and it is with great pleasure that we officially bring into the fold,” said Tevya Finger, president and CEO, Luxury Brand Partners. “She is a creative force with incredible insight and a gut instinct for the business.”
Luxury Brand Partners, which has seen success with Oribe, R+Co and V76 by Vaughn in the professional beauty and luxury retail markets, launched Smith & Cult in the second half of 2014. Chavez will oversee growth and further development for Smith & Cult, as well as consult on retail development for existing and future brands under the LBP umbrella. “I am thrilled to be a part of such a forward-thinking company whose foundation is building brands vertically and looking for new ways to extend retail growth and development in meaningful ways,” said Chavez, who will be based in Los Angeles and also maintain a presence in LBP’s Miami and New York City headquarters.
Chavez has more than 25 years of experience working with color cosmetics and skin care brands.
“We know that Jeanne’s talent, resources, connections and insight will continue to bring new branded opportunities to market and further develop our reach throughout the retail and professional industries,” said Finger.
