JOICO Senior Vice President and General Manager, Sara Jones, recently announced several new hires and promotions at JOICO:
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
Timea Domokos joins Joico as Territory Manager with a diverse background in the professional beauty industry as well as exceptional experience in digital marketing and project/event management. She has owned her own salon business as well as worked on extensive projects for Yelp and Google. Timea earned her Bachelor of Arts from University of California, Santa Barbara and her Master of Business Administration from St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas. As Territory Manager, she will be responsible for the planning and execution of sales and education events/initiatives in Northern California, Nevada and Utah for the Full Service, Store and Chain Division for Beauty Systems Group.
Roy Fuller joins Joico as a Territory Manager responsible for developing and building business and education with full service and stores in the Florida, George and Alabama market. Roy comes to Joico with a strong background in hair color, sales, marketing and strong relationships with the CosmoProf stores and full-service channel. Roy has worked for several appliance companies, which most recently including at Kenra as Brand Manager supporting National Chains and CosmoProf. Roy also recently completed his master's degree from Drexel University.
Morgan Theiler joins Joico as Territory Manager and comes to the oganization with a strong background in education, training and sales support. She had previously worked for Joico as an Advisor supporting sales consultants, salons and distributor stores for over ten years. Additionally, Morgan is a licensed instructor and was an instructor at the Aveda Institute in Boise, Idaho for several years. As Territory Manager, she will be responsible for sales, education, training and events in Colorado, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska.
PROMOTIONS
COMMUNICATIONS & PR:
Valerie Robinett has been promoted to Sr. Director, Digital Marketing and Communications. Valerie joined the JOICO Marketing/PR team in 2011 after spending many successful years as a Director of Business Development. She will be responsible for developing breakthrough trade and consumer digital marketing strategies. She will also be responsible for all video production.
MARKETING:
Annie Hu has been promoted to Director, Marketing focusing on hair color and merchandising. Annie joined JOICO in 2005 and has risen through a series of roles with increasing responsibility. In her new role, Annie will help build the business in the consumer facing chain accounts, such as Ultra and Beauty Brands, while leading our color marketing initiatives.
CREATIVE:
Celia DiStefano has been promoted to Associate Creative Production Manager. Celia holds full management responsibility of literature projects including assigning, routing, quoting and printing, as well as project management for all merchandising/channel marketing projects.
SALES ADMINISTRATION:
Adam Lin has been promoted to Manager, Sales and Financial Analysis. After joining our Sales Administration Department over four years ago, Adam has been an integral part of developing complex financial forecasting models. Adam will expand his responsibilities to provide trade promotion and P&L Analysis, as well as improving data mining processes.
