Joico welcomed Jean-Philippe “JP” Charrier, Chief Officer, Professional Operations Division, Shiseido, Ltd., their parent company, to their Arcadia, CA headquarters. Charrier officially took over earlier this year for his predecessor Kozo Hanada, now President of Shiseido Professional Inc. in Japan.
Joining Charrier were Seiji Sato, Sr. Mgr., Professional Business Operations Division, and Tomoko Shiomi, Liaison Mgr. of Professional Business Operations Division also arriving from Shiseido headquarters in Japan, as well as Ron Krassin, CEO and Toshi Komatsu, EVP Corporate Planning, for Zotos International, Inc., headquartered in Darien, CT.

Sara Jones, Sr. VP and GM for Joico/ISO/Minardi welcomed them all, introducing Krassin who addressed the audience briefly before handing the floor over to Charrier. After recognizing Joico for their unprecedented growth over recent years, Mr.Charrier shared his vision; anchored upon making the salon professional and the salon business, first and foremost among all priorities.
Present were all of Joico staff located in its Southern California headquarters, including Edie Williams, VP Distributor Sales, for Joico/ISO/Minardi, U.S., and were joined by other international heads for the special visit: Mike Miller – VP, Joico/ISO Canada, Eric Kater – GM, Joico Europe, Gaby Abel – Marketing Dir., Joico Europe, Colinda van Rossum – Marketing Mgr., Joico Europe, and Missie Madeja – Dir.
