"The number one thing in my salon that customers are looking for is salon fresh color every single day until their next salon visit,” says L’ANZA’s Global Creative Director Ammon Carver. Here, Carver introduces L’ANZA’s new Color Attach System, which features four products that all contain color-extending technology.
"Creating beautiful, longer-lasting color is so important to stylists and their guests, which means it’s important to L’ANZA," says Carver. "Our goal was to create stand-out color protection, that left the hair in amazing condition. We did years of research and testing to make sure we had a true ‘wow’ product that does exactly what it says."

The Color Attach System features two professional back-bar products for use during service-time, and two products recommended for continued at-home color maintenance. All these products are designed to help your clients achieve and maintain richer and brighter haircolor, even color coverage and longer-lasting results.
Watch here as Carver shows you how to use each of the products in the system.
STEP 1:
In hair coloring, there are a multitude of different surfaces that professionals must work with. Each hair fiber has its own set of challenges that affect color deposition and overall hair color results. That’s why, priming the surface of your client’s hair is vital toward achieving optimal color results. To do this, L'ANZA Haircare recommends using Color Attach Step 1 Pre-Treatment:
What it does:
Primes the hair fiber to boost color uptake and deposition
Creates color attachment sites in hair to improve color adhesion
Deposits more pigments per square micrometer
Equalizes porosity for more even coverage
Increases color density and vividness

How it works: Prior to color service, spray into hair and comb through. Proceed with color service as usual. May be used with any brand o oxidative or direct dye. Will not dilute color or affect hue.
STEP 2:
Sealing the surface of the hair after coloring is essential for best results. To do this, try Color Attach Step 2 Post-Treatment.
What it does:
Seals-in haircolor with a weightless, durable color shield.
Stops any residual oxidative processing
Locks down cuticles and detangles
Produces a glossy finish
Enhances color richness and vividness
Provides up to 500 degrees F heat protection
How it works: After shampooing color from hair, spray directly into towel-dried hair and comb through. Style as desired. Use after oxidative or direct dyes.

STEP 3:
After using the Color Attach system, at-home color maintenance is necessary to keep up your client’s beautiful results. To protect your client’s color, recommend Color Guard.
"Color Guard will extend your hair color up to 107% longer!" says Carver. "It’s unique because it directly attacks one of color’s biggest enemies – water."
Over 70% of hair color fading is caused by water alone," he adds "Color Guard uses Wash Shield technology that actually prevents water from entering the hair cuticle and washing away color. It contains the same natural water-repelling elements from the Lotus Leaf Plant to stop water from seeping into crevices of the hair and washing away hair color. After shampooing, Color Guard can be also be used after a rinse-off condition for another layer of added UV and thermal protection!"
What it does:
Extends haircolor
Prevents water-induced color fading
UV protectors shield against ultraviolet fading
Super antioxidants guard against color degradation
Works as a leave-in conditioner

Use after shampooing to protect haircolor. Spray onto towel-dried hair and leave-in. Apply prior to styling and blow drying.
STEP 4:
Over time, haircolor can lose its richness and vibrancy – oxidation sets in and color begins to age. To combat these effects, L'ANZA created Color Illuminator, a hair color brightener.
