Paris-born stylist and member of the Bumble and bumble Salon styling team Laurent Philippon is the author of Hair: Fashion and Fantasy, a book that celebrates the art and craft of hair styling with a collection of stunning photographs and commentary.
Philippon, who creates his own iconic styles, highlights hair creations from past, present and future. Hair: Fashion and Fantasy examines the importance of hair throughout history, the status that it conferred in various cultures and societies (think Marie Antoinette) and the creativity it inspired. The book compiles the work of some of the world’s greatest stylists, designers and photographers.
