She brings more than two decades of industry experience at Joico and Henkel to the position.

Beauty Industry Group (BIG) has hired Lindsay Rumpel as Senior Brand Director of Hotheads®, a leading professional tape-in and weft hair extension brand in North America.
With over two decades of experience in the field of professional beauty, Rumpel has developed a rock-solid reputation for success in product ideation, launch, and multimillion-dollar growth through strategic partnerships. Prior to taking on a leadership role at Hotheads®, Rumpel held key industry positions, cementing her deep knowledge of the product landscape.
As Director of Business Development for Joico, she worked closely with U.S. distributor Cosmoprof and other independent distributors to create dynamic product placement in salons, increase sales and education, and lead the ULTA e-commerce and store business. Rising to Senior Director of Business Development at Henkel, Joico’s parent company, Lindsay continued to shine the spotlight on unique marketing strategies and brand growth.
“Lindsay has vast experience in building long-lasting, collaborative relationships and working closely with distributors to provide meaningful customer experiences for hairdressers and salon owners,” said Brandon Hutchins, President of Professional Brands at Beauty Industry Group. “We’re excited for the strategic vision she brings to the brand and her people-first way of conducting business.”
A natural-born people-person, Rumpel learned the value of mentorship under the guidance of those who supported and nurtured her own growth as she rose through the beauty ranks. Committed to fostering the same collaborative, vibrant, and enthusiastic environment in her new role at Hotheads®, she warmly welcomes individual voices and looks forward to creating a motivating, dynamic vibe, one which truly fosters both personal and team growth.
Not surprisingly, at the heart of Rumpel's core values is a focus on continuing education beyond the scope of academics – it’s a philosophy she’s carried ever since graduating from Georgia State University, where she majored in Marketing and Business Management with a focus on leadership and development. To this day, you’ll frequently find Rumpel ramping up her own skills through seminars, certification courses, podcasts, and books…all in a passionate quest to inspire herself and her team.
And that team proudly starts at home, where her true rock stars – Rumpel’s son, Apollo, her husband, Rocky (and even her four-legged child, Princess Leia Brooklyn) – provide a daily reminder about the importance of living life to the fullest. Together, this fun family spends much of their time staying active in the great outdoors, traveling, cheering on Rumpel’s beloved Atlanta Braves, and continuing to spark new adventures with friends and family.
