Milady, part of Cengage Learning and a provider of beauty and wellness learning solutions, has announced the launch of the Milady Education Network, a site devoted to providing educational resources and networking opportunities to salon professionals.
The Milady Education Network is a place where industry professionals can polish skills, keep up with current trends and learn profitable business strategies. Users can create a free profile to access the site's wealth of complimentary content such as articles, tips, webinars, or to purchase optional additional resources including step-by-step technical videos or online business courses. For example, users can read an article on increasing their referral business, watch a webinar about improving retail, watch a video depicting a coloring technique, or take an online course that teaches how to market their business; the possibilities are endless. One of the top features is the ability to chat with other professionals nationwide to network and share best practices. Additionally, there's an area for students that provides information to help with preparation for graduation and the start of their careers.
