Publisher Steve Reiss of MODERN SALON will be presenting at 2014 Premiere Orlando May 31-June 2.

Steve Reiss, MODERN SALON publisher, speaks at ISBN 2014.
Reiss will be giving a presentation Mon., June 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in room W221B on beauty industry trends. Reiss gave a similar presentation at this year's ISBN; he will highlight risks and opportunities and explore how the economy is shaping client behavior and driving trends. Reiss has given this presentation at numerous industry events, and attendees will walk away with information, ideas and best practices they can immediately put to use.
Reiss will explore how the economy is shaping client behavior and driving trends and how the industry is responding. "Just like the Great Depression shaped the behavior of our parents and grandparents, the recent recession is impacting the behavior of today's beauty consumer," Reiss said during ISBN. "That is presenting some challenges to salons and spas, but there are also several opportunities."
MODERN SALON is the only media with communities and resources for beauty students, stylists and salon owners, so we have a unique perspective on the salon professional's life cycle and have a birdseye view of the key trends impacting the industry.
