MODERN SALON is pleased to bring you inspiring news from our "Giving Guide."

Giving back is core to Olivia Garden, and Anne Maza, VP of Marketing & Sales, has made it her mission to support causes that are most important to the company's customers. For 12 years during October, Olivia Garden has manufactured and sold a special, limited-edition collection of brushes and shears to promote Breast Cancer Awareness. A portion of proceeds from all sales of this collection is donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Social justice is another mandate for Maza and her team, who together developed the CreateCHANGE! Brush Collection to donate 100% of net profits to organizations fighting discrimination, racism, and injustice. So far, more than $2,000 has been raised for NAACP and other designated groups.

The pandemic changed the way some brands, including Olivia Garden, give back. From late 2020 through the present, Olivia Garden offers the #omgOG initiative, which encourages social media followers to share little wins weekly. Likes and comments on these posts benefit a host of organizations, translating into dollar amounts that Olivia Garden donates. Organizations selected to date have targeted domestic violence, discrimination, breast cancer, food insecurity/childhood hunger, and other important causes.
