As a stylist, educator, salon owner and businessman, O'Rourke has strived to create innovative products and techniques that transcend today's beauty arena. Evidence of this is his legacy product line "Michael O'Rourke Hair" and his Structure in Motion cutting style. As founder of Carlton Hair Salons and Sexy Hair Concepts, O'Rourke encourages stylists to unleash their creative potential. In addition to his business endeavors, education also plays a large role in O'Rourke's life. He opened the Institute of Courage, LLC in 2006 with the goal of educating and giving back to the international community of hair stylists. Today, his hard work and generosity have solidified O'Rourke as an icon in the professional beauty industry.
