This week Ulta Beauty announced that Nick Stenson has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Salon Services and Trend.
In his new role, Stenson will continue to steer Ulta Beauty’s growing salon and services business, elevating the beauty services experience for guests in more than 1,200 stores.
"I am most excited to now have all services under one umbrella, including the specialty operations team and events team," Stenson says. "Our events team delivers thousands of in-store events each year, in partnership with our brands and stores team."
Stenson shares that with this new role, the services of hair, skin, Benefit brow, Mac, Lancome and Clinique will be under his organization.
"Having synergies between all these teams will only strengthen the guest experience to create limitless beauty possibilities," he says. "This also strengthens our position in the industry to provide amazing career opportunities to all beauty professionals."
Stenson joined Ulta Beauty in 2016 as chief artistic director, most recently serving in the role of Vice President, Salon Services and Trend for the past two years.
Stenson has brought his expertise and talent to both the artistry and salon business side of Ulta Beauty, strengthening the services culture through his collaborative leadership and dedication to developing his team. Under his leadership, Ulta Beauty’s Pro Team has received countless industry awards including NAHA 2019 Team of the Year; exciting and beautiful covers of MODERN SALON magazine; Ulta Beauty’s hair and beauty services menu has continued to transform, now featuring specialty blowouts; and so much more.
