OPI launches glitter gels in two new GelColor kits for spring. The two sets feature 12 new shades from the Euro Centrale collection for Spring/Summer 2013 and the Disney’s Oz The Great and Powerful promotion.
The Fashionistas kit includes six favorites from Euro Centrale, in shades ranging from vibrant periwinkle to gold. The Disney’s Oz The Great and Powerful kit offers SoftShades and glitters in gel formulas inspired by the film, featuring glittery shades packed with white, gold and silvery iridescent confetti and soft neutrals in white, beige and pink.

“Since its launch, GelColor has grown to become a new standard for manicure durability and endurance. Now OPI is broadening what GelColor can do,” said Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. “OPI is so excited to launch the first ever glitter gels.”
Unlike a gel and polish hybrid, OPI’s formula is 100% gel. GelColor is applied similar to traditional nail lacquer, then flash LED UV-cured in a total of four minutes per set (almost four times faster than standard gels). Salon application takes approximately 45 minutes from start-to-finish (including OPI’s exclusive nail prep) and is easily removed in 15 minutes with individual fingertip soak-off sleeves.
The Fashionistas kit offers: OPI Eurso…Euro, You’re Such a BudaPest, Can’t Find My Czechbook, Oy- Another Polish Joke!, My Vampire Is Buff, and the glitter gel Polka.com.
The Disney’s Oz The Great and Powerfulkit includes: Don’t Burst My Bubble, Glints of Glinda, I Theodora You, and the glitter gels When Monkeys Fly!, Which is Witch?, and Lights of Emerald City.
