P&G North America Professional Care has announced two executive promotions within its global and regional leadership teams.
Kevin Otero, formerly general manager of P&G North America, was named general manager of Global MDO Professional Salon, based in Geneva, Switzerland. Â He will develop all marketing and delivery strategies for the Global division, focusing on salons and stylists in each region. He will report to Robert Jongstra, president, Global Professional Salon.

Reuben Carranza, formerly director of North America Professional Care Exclusive Lines, will become director, North America Region, Professional Salon. Â He will direct P&G's Open Line business, manage the Exclusive Brands and oversee the Woodland Hills, California headquarters. He will report to Otero.
Both Otero and Carranza were instrumental in the restructuring of P&G, which included bringing the Graham Webb and Clairol Professional brands into the headquarters location, the acquisition of Nioxin, the construction of Studios in New York and Los Angeles and the restage of Clairol Professional Permanent Color, Sebastian Professional and Wella KolestonPerfect.
Together they also reorganized the distribution of P&G Professional Salon into three divisions: Direct Sales, National Teams and distributor stores.
