Pureology Partners with National Ovarian Cancer Coalition

Ovarian cancer is called the silent killer, but Pureology is making some noise to raise awareness and funds to combat this disease. The company has expanded its partnership with the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition as the official hair care and styling partner for the organization. During September and October, Pureology is offering the Limited Edition Break the Silence Volume Booster promotion-a boxed set containing PureVolume Shampoo, Pure Volume Conditioner and a tortoise shell brush with a bristle pad in the NOCC's signature teal blue.

"Pureology will also donate $25,000 to NOCC and will continue the year-long campaign to facilitate a greater dialogue that will lead to earlier diagnosis, improved survival rates and quality of life for women with ovarian caner," says Karen Fuss-Zipp, senior vice president of marketing for Pureology.

Pureology and the NOCC will host 21 Walks to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer, including the national walk in September in Los Angeles. Pureology will provide walk participants with travel size Hydrate shampoo and conditioner and a teal Pureology wrist band.
