PureOlogy Serious Colour Care  has announced  its ongoing partnership with the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) as the organization’s official haircare and styling partner.  Throughout 2008, PureOlogy and NOCC will host 20 nationwide NOCC & PureOlogy “Walks to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer” culminating with a national walk to be held in Los Angeles in September, Ovarian Cancer Awareness month.  NOCC’s national spokeswoman, Eva LaRue of CSI: Miami, will be attending the national walk to help increase awareness of NOCC and Pureology’s efforts to educate women about the symptoms and risk factors for ovarian cancer. PureOlogy and NOCC will work together to generate support from salons and stylists, local NOCC chapter members, and consumers to increase awareness and participation for each Walk to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer.  Additionally, PureOlogy will be on-site at each walk, distributing pre-packs containing HydateShampoo, HydrateCondition and PureOlogy wristbands to participants.

“Ovarian cancer is a serious disease that affects thousands of women around the world, and in women age 35-74, ovarian cancer is the fifth leading cause of cancer-related deaths,” says Karen Fuss-Zipp, Senior Vice President of Marketing for PureOlogy.  “Finding a cure for ovarian cancer is a cause that is very close to the hearts of the PureOlogy family and we’re eager to advance together with NOCC. In Dubai, Clients Visit the Salon Every Week. Here’s What That Market Can Teach You

In Dubai, a salon visit isn’t an appointment. It’s a weekly routine, and clients can spend $800 to $1,400 a month on it, according to Gaurav Tripathi of MADI International. On October 6-8, 2026, the market behind those numbers opens its doors as Beautyworld Dubai marks its 30th edition at the Dubai World Trade Centre, bringing together distributors, brands, stylists and salon owners from all over the world.
