HITS

I loved Amy Adams old Hollywood Glamour, it was shiny and well executed. The marcel iron wave and tucked under chignon was a true hit on the red carpet with her Marchesa dress.

Megan Fox was timeless Hollywood curls. Jennifer Lawrence and Julianne Hough wore a younger fresh Hollywood glamour.

Jennifer’s hair was a beautiful twisted texture and pinned at the nape in a soft chignon. Julianne was edgier with her look especially since her hair color is platinum blonde. I love the volume she has in the front and loved the strong part and messy twisted wrap.

MISSES

Buns, buns, boring blowouts and giddy- up and ride your Ponytail to the Golden Globes.  C’mon ladies…we all know how to do a shower bun and mall ponytail.  If you are going to the gym to work out then fine but not the Golden Globes. There were a few blow outs that could have looked fresher as well.

Kate Hudson was STUNNING however her hair up would have finished the look. I wonder,  did the designers tell the celebs to wear the hair in buns and ponytails because they do not want to distract from their design?

In Dubai, Clients Visit the Salon Every Week. Here’s What That Market Can Teach You

In Dubai, a salon visit isn’t an appointment. It’s a weekly routine, and clients can spend $800 to $1,400 a month on it, according to Gaurav Tripathi of MADI International. On October 6-8, 2026, the market behind those numbers opens its doors as Beautyworld Dubai marks its 30th edition at the Dubai World Trade Centre, bringing together distributors, brands, stylists and salon owners from all over the world.
