Salon owner and stylist Tabatha Coffey was a contestant on last year's Bravo television's hair styling reality show, Shear Genius. This season Coffey is starring in her own Bravo series, Tabatha's Salon Take Over, in which the straight-talking Coffey visits a new salon every week with a tough-love intervention aimed at getting the troubled business back on track.
Coffey recently visited Martino Cartier at Giovanni and Pileggi Salon in Sewell, New Jersey where she staged a top-to-bottom make over that included professional services, styling stations and staff.
According to Cartier, the " take over" by Coffey and her crew "whipped the salon back into shape" and helped grow the business, earning the salon a Redken Elite designation along the way.
