Could Ryan Gosling be any hotter right now? Nominated for a Golden Globe and generating buzz for his role alongside Michelle Williams in Blue Valentine, Gosling is also on the cover of the January 2011 issue of GQ. Gone is the bearded look from his last cover of the magazine in 2007, in favor of a polished Oribe style that plays up his hair's natural texture.

According to Oribe, he wanted to create a natural look to complement a great haircut and let Ryan's natural texture dictate the style. "I used Gel Sérum because it's a perfect way to achieve volume and texture, even if you have finer hair," he says. "This is a very easy style. It's not too uptight, but still pulled together."

1. While hair is damp, run a light amount of Oribe Gel Sérum through the hair and allow it to dry. This will give the control needed to keep hair off the face while adding moisture to nourish.
2. When the hair is dry, run fingers through the hair again to finger style.
