Sandra Bruce's career at Milady spans nearly three decades, during which she has made significant contributions to the industry. Starting as a Team Assistant in 1995, Sandra's journey through various roles, including Marketing Manager, Director of Industry Relations, Product Director, Executive Director, and ultimately SVP & GM, showcases her dedication and impact. Under her leadership, Milady has achieved industry leadership, championed digital learning, and reinvented itself to continually meet customer and student needs.
N.F. Cimaglia founded Milady in 1927, and in 1975, the AACS Past Presidents’ Club and the AACS Board of Directors unanimously voted to establish the N.F. Cimaglia Award in honor of Nick Cimaglia’s contributions to beauty education. Recipients are nominated by the AACS Past Presidents' Club, and the winner is selected by past presidents of AACS and previous N.F. Cimaglia Award recipients.
This year, Sandra Bruce's exceptional contributions and unwavering commitment to the beauty education industry have earned her this distinguished honor. In addition to celebrating this remarkable achievement, Milady also announces Sandra Bruce's upcoming retirement.
